How it Works

One of our volunteers will coordinate with each venue to determine if there are hosts of upcoming events who would like to donate their arrangements to be repurposed after their event.

If so desired, tent cards with the Circle of Petals logo will be provided to the hosts, to designate the flowers for donation (so that they will not be taken by guests at the close of the event).

Following the event (usually on a Sunday morning), our volunteers will pick up the floral arrangements and bring them to our workshop, where flowers will  be trimmed and re-arranged into smaller mason jar vases for delivery.

Deliveries will be made to recipients pre-designated by nursing home staff, ideally residents who do not have regular or recent visitors.
